Advent Horizon

Welcome to the Arc

An expanse of the Milky Way nearly ten thousand light years across. At the end of the 23rd century interplanetary atomic war devastated the Sol system. Humanity’s home world was lost. The scattered remnants fled across the impossible vastness of space to seek refuge among the distant colonies of earth and mars. For hundreds of year sol was silent. The colonies of man looked back at that pail blue dot and wept for a mother lost. Until with a sudden burst Mars and Earth and the colonies of Jupiter and beyond erupted with light and life. Someone, or something was alive.

What came next were no messages of hope, but the drums of war. From the sol system came an armada with a power only imagined: to travel beyond the speed of light. But greater revelations awaited mankind and her children – humanity was not alone.

Cursebrand Chronicles

Scarred by war, Cursed by Magic

Ghestal, a world once ruled by beasts and magic unimaginable, now ruled by the most terrifying beast of all: man. In humanity’s greed and ambition, political turmoil turned to atomic fire. Nearly three decades have passed since the bombs fell and the old world with it. Now the remnants of civilization huddle behind massive walls in great super cities living in fear of fiends and horrors that stalk the land.

Only those who bear the Cursebrands, marks of corruption and damnation, are immune to the creeping death of the Miasma. They alone have the power to tread the wastelands and ruins of the old world in search of glory, wealth, ancient secrets, and perhaps the one treasure the world needs the most: Hope.

Epic Age

THE RISE OF AN EPIC AGE

The adventures and stories of Epic Age take place on the world known as Aerd or El Ard, a realm not so foreign to our own. Indeed, many of the cultures, places, and life are recognizable to us, so similar are they to our earth. Yet this world, for all that it seems to resemble our own, is alien, one torn asunder and stitched together again, a world of sorceries and shadows.

Ruhl, the western most continent of Aerd is the center for the turning of the age. It was here that the ancient nation of the Aersith was undone by plague and famine, it was here that Ulvrick the Mad opened his countless black gates to the infernal Realm of Mekkon, ushering in an age of demonic invasions which swept the globe. Six centuries have past and things have changed. Now more than ever Aerd faces a time in need of heroes.

And they will arise, not as martyrs to a cause, but as the guardians and champions of this new world, of this Epic Age.

Realms being charted

Behemoth

Join the hunt

You’ll never know when the realm will call on you to join the hunt. The realm of the Behemoths is full of large and powerful monsters with one goal on their mind, survival. Be careful wandering around alone there are cats the size of elephants, arachnids with a nearly impenetrable carapace, and bipedal lizards that can fill a valley.

Mechfall

Eldritch technology

They came in the time of my father’s father. First a strange star gleamed, unknown to the astrologers and alchemists. Then a comet of ill omen appeared in the western sky, growing brighter each night. When the seeress of Tythia cried out warning to all the kings and queens, sorcerers and priests, it was far too late. The calamity of steel was upon us. Abominations of machine rained as the strange metal moon shattered above.

The Mechfall had begun.

Realms of Ouroboros

the Realms

Imagine if you will, that there is an infinite number of worlds, each unique, similar, yet different. In each of these universes the rules are varied, as are the fundamental properties that we take for granted. Now, imagine these worlds are all connected by a vast ever present membrane that divides and contains them. Yet there is a thread that connects all these worlds: the Ouroboros. Each of these are a world touched by the ancient dragon gate.
